City you live in:
Los Angeles, CA

English/Spanish/ Spanglish:
All of the above Why limit myself?

Favorite Latin food you can’t live without:
Papas Rellenas: There’s something so deliciously sinful about mashed potatoes surrounding a ball of picadillo, with a thin layer of fried breadcrumbs. Yummmm!!!

What is your Latina contradiction?
I am a Cubanita who doesn’t like the smell of cigars.

When you think of Latin culture what are the first words you think of?
Caliente, Flavor, Passion

What is your ethnicity? Or where is your family from?
My family is from Cuba. We escaped a day before I turned 10, and lived in exhile in Panama for 18 months. When we crossed Rio Grande (Mexico) into Texas, I knew I was free to live my life in the country that welcomed us.

Latina? American? Both?
Both, I am a Cuban at heart, but very grateful to be an American and live in a free country.

Favorite Latin artist or music?
Celia Cruz always advocated her culture, her music and joy of living. Her music makes me smile and I always dance uncontrollably when I hear it, no matter where I am… lounge, elevator, car… anywhere!

iPhone or BlackBerry?
It’s all about the apps! Wish there was a Cosmopolatina app!

How do you describe your style?
I dress power-sexy/confident and always fashionable. I walk with an accent, speak with flavor and dance with the joy of being latina!
