Ojo! Your Eyes Look Tired!

May 03, 10 Ojo! Your Eyes Look Tired!

After struggling with yohow to not look tired ur snooze button, you wake up and look in the mirror to find ojeras and bloodshot eyes. Going out with your girls last night was probably a bad idea and you’re worried about what your mami would think if she knew her daughter had been out late behaving like less than a dama. Don’t worry, LaCosmopolatina can show you how to fake a well-rested night, so no one would ever guess you were up late knocking mojitos and piña coladas.

  1. This first step might be difficult if you’re sedated, but it’s best to remember to sleep face up with two pillows stacked behind your head. Sleeping face down causes fluids to collect in your face making it look puffy.
  2. Agua Fria. Take a cold shower. It will get your blood pumping and make you feel awake.
  3. Put a spoon in the fridge before you shower. When you get out, lay it across your closed eyes for a few minutes to reduce puffiness.
  4. Work out. This one can also be difficult. You may think you can’t, but force yourself to get out of bed. Start with some stretches. Next, do a few crunches and jog in place for a few minutes. This will give you an energy boost that will last for several hours.
  5. Use white eyeliner on your lower eyelid. This little trick helps to eliminate the redness and makes the whites of your eyes appear even whiter.
  6. Sweep bronzer along the perimeter of your face and across your collarbone. This will add color to your face. Next, sweep a baby pink blush along the center of your cheeks to add the rosy glow that you would naturally have after a good night’s sleep.
  7. Drink tons of water. Dehydration is your worst enemy. You will need to drink water all day. This will also reduce your swollen eyes.

These tips will help you fake a good night’s rest outwardly, but be sure to catch up on your z’s to stay healthy and get that all-natural glow!
