I prefer Spanish, but I speak English when needed and Spanglish sometimes to speak faster.

Favorite Latin food you can’t live without:
Tortilla, salsa, beans, chorizo, almost everything! I love Mexican food!

What is your Latina contradiction?
I have never danced Salsa and I barely know any Salsa singers and songs. I enjoy watching movies, but I don’t like to watch TV.

When you think of Latin culture, what are the first words you think of?
Family, friends, dance, Fiesta!

What is your ethnicity? Or where is your family from?
I’m Mexican; I was born and raised in Monterrey, México. My parents and grandparents are Mexican too but my great grandfather was Chinese.

Latina? American? Both?
Latina, Mexican, Regia! (that’s how people from Monterrey are called)

Favorite Latin artist or music?
I like Rock en Español, Mariachi and Rancheras. There’s a lot of Latin music from Shakira to Tigresdel Norte that I enjoy.

iPhone or BlackBerry?
I have been using an iPhone since last year and I love it!

How do you describe your style?
I’m casual, simple. I like to be different. I like to be comfortable, love jeans and sneakers. I don’t really worry about clothing brands. If I see something that fits me and makes me feel good, I buy it.

What is your favorite Latin restaurant?
In Dallas, Tx; Fogo de Chao, Texas de Brazil, El Ranchito.
In Monterrey, Mx; El Gran Pastor, La Costa Azul.
