City you live in:
I am currently living in Paterson, aka P-Town.

I speak all of the above. Whatever comes out first and depending on who I am speaking with.

Favorite Latin food you can’t live without
The food I can not live without has to be Dominican Longaniza! I love it! It’s perfect for after a late night out with the girls and great with platanos and in a Locrio!

What is your Latina contradiction?
I always thought that my Latina contradiction was my last name. Although both my parents are born and raised Dominican my last name is English. However during colonial times Latin America was settled by people from all over Europe. So I guess i don’t have any Latina contradiction because I do all the normal things Latinas do.

When you think of Latin culture what are the first words you think of?
Flavor, Sass, Music like Bachata and Merengue, delicious food, great style, strong family and work ethics.

What is your ethnicity? Or where is your family from?
I am Dominican American. My family is from the gorgeous Dominican Republic.

Latina? American? Both?
Both. I was born here in the US, but my parents are Dominican.

Favorite Latin artist or music?
I can’t narrow it down to just one favorite Latin artist but I love merengue and bachata. Top Merengueros Males- Ruby Perez, Sergio Vargas, Hector Acosta & Omega. Top Females- Milly Quezada, Miriam Cruz & Juliana O’ Neal. For bachata; Anthony Santos and Frank Reyes!

iPhone or BlackBerry?
OMG is this even a question?! lol definitley, without a doubt, hands down Team iPhone. I love my iPhone and I am constantly on it!

How do you describe your style?
I would have to say my style is definitely affordable. It is casual chic with touches of flair, comfortable, effortless and yet fashionable and stylish.

What media in English and/or Spanish do you prefer/consume, as in what magazines, newspapers, TV shows, etc?
The televishion shows that I watch are Parenthood, No Ordinary Family, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Secret Life of an American Teen, Drop Dead Diva, Army Wives, United States of Tara, Secret Diary of a Call Girl, Shameless and Dexter! Oh and I can not forget So You Think You Can Dance! Wow lol that sounds like a whole lot but they actually all run at different times during the year and I have a DVR. I also love just about everything that runs on E, WE, FoodNetwork, HGTV and Lifetime.
