City you live in:
Moreno Valley, California

English/Spanish/Spanglish:
I am a fluent English and Spanish speaker. Pero de repente se me sale el Spanglish, I guess that’s the beauty of knowing two languages.

Favorite Latin food you can’t live without:
Me encanta de todo. But one thing I can’t live without is definitely my mom’s famous Carne en su jugo.

What is your Latina contradiction?
My Latina contradiction is eating my Tamales with Ketchup instead of chile. That’s something I picked up from my boyfriend who is black. He puts ketchup on everything. When I say everything, I really mean EVERYTHING and it’s actually not that bad.

When you think of Latin culture, what are the first words you think of?
Passion in our blood, traditions from our ancestors and strong family ties in our life.

What is your ethnicity? Or where is your family from?
I am a Mexican American chica. I was born and raised in Riverside, California but my family is from Guadalajara, Jalisco in Mexico.

Latina? American? Both?
I am definitely both. Latina by blood and American by birth.

Favorite Latin artist or music?
I listen to all kinds of music, from Vicente Fernandez to Luis Enrique. De todo un poco!

iPhone or BlackBerry?
Neither. I became an Android type of girl a year and a half ago.

How do you describe your style?
Unique and my own.

What is your favorite Latin restaurant?
I have yet to find an amazing Latin Restaurant so until then I will definitely stick to my mami‘s delicious home cooked meals.
